public swimming

swimming pool

Its summer and kids are looking forward to summer school or programs local YMCA and YWCA. All I want to do is go swimming. I remember as a child is to Venetian Pool in Coral Gables, FL. It was great, we spent the whole day there. My brother and I did this all summer. The children now go to the community pools local and have a good time too. It is important that all children learn to swim. You never know when it will be useful later. I taught my children to swim at ages 2 and 3, this is young, but who live near water and in Florida. Another thing, most parents do not believe in the possibility of an allergy to chlorine in a pool.

Chlorine is used to disinfect swimming pools to prevent algae and bacteria to accumulate in the water. If water is left untreated, the water becomes harmful to health of users of the pool. I remember once when my daughter went into a pool that was not sterilized properly, ended up with ear infections in the water. At the time he knew nothing more about the dangers of unsterilized water. That was a costly lesson when he had to take them to the doctor, in addition to medication. Hence, be aware of unsterilized pools.

If you have an allergy to chlorine, you have to stay away from pools containing chloride. We have a customer whose child is allergic to chlorine containing water and not allowed to go to public swimming pools or at a friend’s house for a party of swimming. Sad but true. They take the boy from the beach and well. He has no problem in salt water. The family will invite the other kids in the neighborhood to go with them, this is how to cope allergy so you can have a normal childhood halfway. This is only one solution for people who have this allergy, go to the beach if you are around.

Other forms of disinfection systems, such as “PristineBlue” System, which is an algaecide and bactericide environment. Another ecological disinfectant also called Baquacil. A third alternative is to use the pools sanitized “ozone”. Do an Internet search on Google and check all three. We do not recommend any particular type. You will have to make that decision. I’ve seen the “Baquacil” system in use with a client, they were happy with the product. Another client uses “ozone” and they were happy with their disinfection system as well. So do some research on their own and do a choice for your child with chlorine Allergy.

A friend of mine developed a small rash from swimming in waters containing chloride of the pool. They did not know what caused it at first until several times in the pool, a rash appears. Its symptoms include skin irritation and eye itching, nasal congestion and a rash that is similar to heat rash. Now use one of alternative disinfectants for swimming pool systems. He was the doctor told to use sunscreen to help cope with allergies. His mother did not like the idea, so they switched to a “disinfectant Baquacil” system.

In conclusion, if your child has a chlorine allergy, will have to find innovative ways for them to go swimming. It is important that all children learn to swim. The ocean is a great place if you live nearby. If you live within, you need to get some of the alternative systems as “Baquacil”, “PristineBlue” or use “ozone”. As always, if you are having an allergic reaction or medical problem, consult your doctor before doing anything.

    Good blog. I got a lot of effective information. I’ve been watching this technology for awhile. It’s fascinating how it keeps changing, yet some of the core elements stay the same. Have you seen much change since Google made their latest acquisition in the domain?
